As a wee bit of luck would have it, I recently finished some programming for Northwest Airlines. As part of my compensation they gave me 2 vouchers for round-trip airfare. So my son and I will be travelling to Texas in mid-October for the graduation free of charge!

A Florida Freeper sent me that via e-mail and so I ran it through my PhotoDeluxe and uploaded it. His version had a misspell 'anit-American' instead of 'anti-American', so I had to fix that ...

That's true. I've seen some notices that have been sent to hospitals warning them to be on the lookout for carbon monoxide poisoning in people who are in areas with power outages. My sister has hers outside and does not run it at night. So far, so good. I just heard on the radio that her area won't get power back until October 11.

We're going to wait until all the dust settles before buying one. The prices have gone up as you can imagine. The dollar value of the food we threw away would've bought us a decent-sized generator.

Not a bad idea to get a generator if you frequently lose power for several days. Mother Nature sure likes to let us know not to mess with her. :(
