Pretty hard to argue with Hathcock but I am sure Shooter 2.5 and his gunshop buddies will be ready to do so.

You need to check your "facts" more carefully.

The FBI shot Oswald's rifle 60 times. There was nothing mechanically wrong with the rifle. It's accuracy was no different than other rifles of it's era. There's no indication when the scope was misaligned. It could very well have happened when it was hidden between the boxes. There was very little time between the shooting and when Oswald was seen in the breakroom.

Show me his quote where he said that.

Not from some hack writer who believes six people killed Kennedy at Dealy Plaza.

Phil, do you have any evidence that the gun alledged to have been removed from the TSBD was tested for having been fired that day? I have heard that it was not and that the WC has no record of that being done. If there is no record I am assuming that means that it WAS done and found to have NOT been fired. It is almost inconceivable that such a standard test would not have been done.

Sylvia Meagher, Accessories After the Fact: The Warren Commission, The Authorities & The Report, Vintage/Random House 1967/1976, page 120:

Neither Day nor any other police officer seems to have checked the rifle when it was discovered for signs--such as traces of fresh gunpowder inside the barrel--indicating that the weapon had actually been fired that day; FBI Expert Robert Frazier, who examined the rifle early the next morning, when asked if there was metal fouling in the barrel, replied, "I did not examinie it for that." -indicating that the weapon had actually been fired that day;

No such test exists. There are only indicators that show that a gun has been fired.

First, will you tell Craig Roberts, Marine Vietnam vet and professional police officer, author of One Shot One Kill to his face that he is a hack?

Or will you content yourself with keyboard masturbation?

Here is the book Craig Roberts wrote featuring Hathcock in Chapter One (I gave my copy to our truck mechanic, a Marine vet):

One Shot One Kill : One Shot One Kill

Sasser was Roberts' police partner and a homicide detective.

Shooter, I will copy the paragraph, and any problem you have with it, you must take up with Craig Roberts, Marine Vietnam vet and police officer.

Any other action on your part is an admission that you hold the losing hand.

Craig Roberts, Kill Zone, CPI, 1994, pages 89-90:

According to my friend, Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock, the former senior instructor for the U.S. Marine Corps Sniper Instructor School at Quantico, Virginia, it could not be done as described by the FBI investigators. Gunny Hathcock, now retired, is the most famous American military sniper in history. In Vietnam he was credited with 93 confirmed kills--and a total of over 300 actual kills counting those unconfirmed. He now conducts police SWAT team sniper schools across the country. When I called him to ask if he had seen the Zapruder film, he chuckled and cut me off. "Let me tell you what we did at Quantico," he began. "We reconstructed the whole thing: the angle, the range, the moving target, the time limit, the obstacles, everything. I don't know how many times we tried it, but we couldn't duplicate what the Warren Commission said Oswald did. Now if I can't do it, how in the world could a guy who was a non-qual on the rifle range and later only qualified 'marksman' do it?"

Okay, shooter, contact Craig Roberts, call him a hack.

Tell it to the Marines.

No problem. You give me his phone number and I'll do it.

Now show me a direct quote that didn't come from a guy who claims six people killed JFK that day.

As for your repetitive "show me a direct quote that didn't come from a guy who claims six people killed JFK that day", I did.

Roberts quotes Hathcock in print.

He did it when Hathcock was alive.

We have the quote. You have a problem.

So was the rifle Oswald shot capable of the accuracy and timing required to make the target connections the Warren Commission contended that Oswald had made?

We still have a cassette tape of interviews from eye witnesses taken IMMEDIATELY after the assassination from a radio broadcast. Before the government /talking head started twisting what was seen. If even half of them saw what they thought they saw, there is no way LHO acted alone or was anything more than a patsy.\
\Must get it out and listen again.

A book was written in the 70s (fiction) about Viet participation in the JFK hit. It was titled "The Tears of Autumn." A well-written book.

supposedly this french assassin was the badge man on the grassy knoll. also woody harrelson's dad was one of the hobos picked up in the train. he was also considered to be one of the best marksmen in the country at the time.

The rifle was more than capable of killing Kennedy with the accuracy and power. The position of the sixth floor was perfect for it. Oswald was directly in line with the 11 MPH limo as it drove away. The timing was fairly simple. Oswald had 8.4 seconds to load, fire, load and fire. The first shot had started the clock. Try it with hand motions. The final shot was made at only 88 yards away.

A number of people watched Oswald fire out of the window. That's where they had the description of the color shirt he was wearing. One of the observers was the photographer who took the picture of Ruby killing Oswald. He was out of film.

Urban legend. 1n 1992, a Dallas researcher,Mary La Fountaine, found the arrest records of the hoboes with their names. Harold Doyle, Gus Abrams and John Forrester Gedney. They were hoboes and the niece of one of them confirmed it.

I don't know if La Fountaine ever wrote a book.

I had read the story in the Dallas Morning News when she found the arrest record and later there was a story on the internet with the niece's interview.

The conspiracy theorists made a big deal out of hoboes wearing new shoes. The three tramps had gone to a homeless shelter after some shoe manufacturer had dropped off a shipment as a donation.
