[history]
Infamous child killer Joel Steinberg is getting ready for his close-up - he has a TV job waiting for him when he gets out of prison.
Steinberg, the abusive monster who became the city's most hated man, will go to work as a reporter and field producer for a new leased-access cable show called "New York Confidential" when he's released next year, his lawyer said yesterday.

Edstrom, who plans to syndicate the show, said "everybody deserves a job." He added that by the time he goes to work for them, Steinberg "will have paid his debt to society." Now that's (barf) "tolerance and compassion." (/sarcasm).
We need no further proof of the abject corruption of our civilization when a beastly child-chiller like Steinberg is handed a visible position in TV.
Liberals' disgusting "tolerance and compassion" for every creep and criminal extant is truly the crime of century which has served to debase and degrade our culture. There should be laws against it.

I'm surprised he is being released!
I shouldn't be all that surprised. Killing babies isn't that bad to a liberal.

Over the years Steinberg viciously beat Nussbaum, and allegedly beat Lisa as well. Why does the writer say he allegedly beat the girl, when he was found guilty?

Note the story relates that this Steincreep beast "took the baby home as a present" to his live-in slut Hedda.
This Steinbum rat complete denigrates humanity by treating a baby as an object.
Oh, and I just bet Steindumb and Heddamoron are (barf) "pro-choice."
Hedda Nussnothing shoulda went to jail as well for letting Lisa lay there, dying and helpless, on the cold bathroom floor.
What poor excuses for humans these two lowlifes are, eh?
A beautiful child named Lisa is dead while Steincreep is going on to a TV career and Hedda is out and about.

Why does the writer say he allegedly beat the girl, when he was found guilty? Hey, these are (barf) liberals we're talking about here. You wouldn't want a liberal's feelings to get hurt would you?
Besides the Steincreep -- having all our constitutional rights at his disposal -- could probably sue if the writer made allegations that the child killer-beast thought were untrue.

This man should've gotten the electric chair, not a release paper and a job.

We might be able to get the show shut down.
Who is syndicating it?

Is this for real? I mean, is some idiot really giving this animal a job on the air? Outrageous!
I remember the reaming that Steinberg got (deservedly!) got on the show "Law & Order". Always loved the "No actual persons depicted" disclaimer at the end of that show.
Rot in Hell, Joel Steinberg!

I'm suprised with their low ratings, CNN hasn't tried to scoop him up as a new "On-The-Beat(ing)" reporter.

Yet another reason to destroy "AOL,Time,Warner" with a boycott. The largest stock holder is a terrorist supporting Saudi whose front, "CitiBank" is listed, or was listed, as the largest stock holder in that abomination of a corporation.

"We're going to do stories the mainstream media doesn't want to do or isn't comfortable doing," Edstrom said. Joel Stienburg, Sydney Biddle Barrows and Bernie Goetz?
These are the stories the mainstream media doesn't want to cover?
These three have been through the entire mainstream media digestive system. After spending a good long time in the lower intestine, they were finally extruded into well-deserved obscurity.
This is not hard-hitting journalism. This is a parade of 1980's media grotesqueries. Throw in Leona Helmsley, Joey Buttafuoco and Dana Plato, and collect the whole set!
Anybody who is a big enough moron to switch this channel on will deserve whatever he gets.

This is the type of story Bill o'Reilly might find interesting.
I have an acquaintance who got life (125 years) for having sex with a 16 and 15 year old. Not saying he didn't deserve good punishment, but when he gets that and a convicted murderer who tortured and beat a child gets out after a few years, I have to wonder about the system.
IMHO, if you kill someone while meaning to hurt them, you should get life in prison or the death penalty.
I had a friend who was stabbed to death by her husband (over 40 times) in front of the kids. He got 12 years.

Maybe we should tell the people that Channel 35 shows porn at night, eh?
Joel's really going places.
To: Liz
Edstrom, who plans to syndicate the show, said "everybody deserves a job." I can give him the resumés of some outsourced IT workers I know.
