Thanks Meg. I hope that a public apology will be forthcoming, but I have my doubts. Ms. Sterling, who is either a City Councilperson or a member of the HRC - I'm not sure which, said on the news this evening (I'm paraphrasing) "if they believe that a group poses a threat to the community, they have a responsibility to report it to law inforcement and the media". Doesn't sound as though she sees any problem with the HRC's press release labeling us a hate group.
