BTW-

A while back, one of the webmasters (I think it must have been JohnRob) said that so long as you put the size of the image you are linking to within the brackets, as in:

(example: img src ="http://www.whatever/whatever.jpg" HEIGHT = 480 WIDTH = 640)

then the thread will not be slowed down in the least. It will simply load the page as it is supposed to be loaded, and display a red "x" until the picture loads. People can scroll on past if it's not loaded yet, no matter how slow their connection.

Being a graphics guy, I found this very liberating!
