All Bush did was declare the end to "major military conflict" and that appears to be true. Sheesh...during the war we were flying sorties all day, everday. We are not doing that now and we are not rushing through Iraq to get to Baghdad. There was nothing premature about Bush's statement.

And this Congressman is absolutely right. All the negative reporting is dropping the support for the war here at home. It made me sick to read about soldiers, during the major military operation, who were concerned about what the people thought back at home. The soldiers are scared of a Vietnam syndrome wherein they are not respected and the nation is not grateful for their service. The press is aiding and abetting that sentiment. It's disgusting.

I HATE THE PRESS!

One of the military analyst was on TV this morning and mentioned how he just got back from Iraq and said he was surprised at how well things were going over there compared to what the Press has been reporting

He then made a very good point. He said there are 26 million Iraqis and only 140,000 of our troops there and that if the Iraqi people really didn't want us there .. there would be no way we could stay there .
