I actually do somewhat enjoy the West Wing, but it's so transparently a wet dream for liberal scumbags. I'm seeing the first 2 years on Bravo (wasn't watching then), and it's almost like Sorkin is trying to tell the Clinton Administration how they should be doing things. Sorkin did a decent job of giving air to both views, but the smug and arrogant attitudes of the characters is a little much at time.

I watched a rerun of "The Andy Griffith Show" last night.
I don't believe today's writers can touch the '55 to '65 shows.
