Please don't use your imagination to conclude the positions of the students from the positions of the faculty and administration. Plenty of decent conservatives and liberals, who would serve very well in our military, attend these schools. Our gripe should be with the leftist anti american faculty and administration only.

If there is only one good recruit there, we should not abandon him or her to this weak power grab by the leftist administration.

Regardless the number of real potential military we expect to recruit from these schools, it is a matter of principle - if the US taxpayers' money is welcome at the school, then so should be the defenders of the US freedom.

I am not sure you were addressing my post. Your post had nothing to do with my post.

I said the harm here is in giving politcal fodder to the Democrats to use with the soccer Moms, who think they need to protect their boys from the draft. This will make them even more paranoid about big bad Bush and John Ashcroft. It has laready been spread around the web that John Ashcroft is eveil for this.

No conservative should support Federal control of speed limits, and this is really the same issue.

Agrred, but I think that the Congress under Newt Gingrich repealed the federal speed limit law back several years ago.
