I concur. If it had been dismissed, we would have heard that by now. I think it's reasonable to assume that Lazzara is at least giving Anderson & Ferrara a few minutes to plead their case. Praying that Lazzara is going to help Terri out on this one!

Judge says "no". Refuses to make this a Federal case. He's inclined to starve her even if he was just a regular Judge. These guys are all buddy-buddy. Just because the Judges may not want to live "that way", they cannot decide what value Terri places on her own life simply because she cannot speak for herself.

No, we aren't all athletes or Miss America but that doesn't mean our life isn't worth living.

Why all these male judges? I think that right there is GENDER BIAS.

Tampa federal court judge stays out of case of disabled woman , excerpt

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A federal judge Friday declined to block the removal of a feeding tube keeping a severely brain-damaged woman alive.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard Lazzara denied a request for an injunction, saying he had no jurisdiction in the case.

Terri Schiavo's feeding tube is scheduled to be removed Wednesday. A state Circuit Court judge had ruled earlier in favor of Michael Schiavo's contention that his wife never wanted to be kept alive artificially.

Terri Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, had filed the federal lawsuit against Michael Schiavo seeking to have him removed as her guardian and have therapy ordered for her.
