Well, I would not sit down while the national anthem was playing. The problem is that the murder of Terri would cause me to lose respect for the nation and to question all of its "values." It would be hard for me to "sing" the anthem if Terri is killed by the state of FL, but I would still stand up when the anthem is played. Otherwise, I would be calling attention to myself, rather than addressing the "flaws" of America.

I would think the worst of CBS too. If the network is covering Terri, expect them to get it all wrong: to refer to her as "comatose" or "PVS." I would be sure that CBS is sympathetic to Michael Schiavo as a "caring" husband who merely wants to carry out his wife's "wishes." It may even refer to George W. Greer as "courageous" and bucking the governor. The network would depict the Schindlers as heartsick parents unable to face "reality."

Is the hearing now underway? It is 1:30 Eastern. I have so little hope for this. I don't see how the Schindlers can bear what is coming next week.

I don't know how the Schindlers have stood the last 13 years. There IS a special place reserved in hell for the ones who have put them through this. I don't know what party Greer claims. Party of the damned, perhaps?

I just sent some 'feedback' email to CBN about Terri.

Some posts mention contacting CBS......do they mean to say CBN? Have not heard of any discussion of Terri's case on CBS.

I totally understand. I pray for them...but still have to use the generic "all those other people involved in Terri's case" -- I think He understands.

Heavenly Father, we come once again into your presence on behalf of Terri Schiavo. We ask Lord that your will be done today in Florida. Touch Terri's attorneys, parents, family members, friends and supporters in a very special way. Help them to feel your arms around them as they endure this latest battle in such a long and arduous war.

Touch the judge, attorneys, and everyone else associated with the legal and judicial systems in this case. Hold their tongue from spouting lies and propoganda. Confuse their minds, Lord, and bind the evil spirits seeking to control Terri's fate -- in the name of Jesus Christ!

Help us, Lord, to remain ever prayerful in this matter. To not bicker, and fuss, but to remain steadfastly in support of Terri, her family & friends, and each other.

We will give you all the glory, Father, for that is where it is due. In the precious and holy name of Jesus, Amen.
