Here's something else to ponder...

Say McC is Governor, and decides to go to San Diego to hold a conference with local businesses and find out their businesses have been hurt because of say...Workmen's Comp.

Who in the media will cover it? Will it get National exposure?

Now, what if ARNOLD did the same thing?

Answer:

McC = no coverage = legislature still doing what it's doing now, and blaming the whole mess on McC's doings.

ARNOLD = Statewide media coverage, National media coverage, and legislature HAVING to do something or risk being exposed on television as not responding to a problem the media brought to CA and the Nation's attention.

GET IT???

Careful Nord...

Capitalizing on Arnold's celebrity is a no-no among the "vote-for-Tom-even-if-it-means-a-bustamante-win" crowd.

Good point though. :)

What does the ability to get media attention matter if, given the opportunity, he uses it 9 times out of 10 to advance liberalism and socialism?

It's not as if a governor of California doesn't have the tools simply by virtue of the office to be heard in the media.

Yes. Your point is loud and clear. We should elect a star who doesn't share our principle and who will drag the party left because the media will cover him more than they would an ordinary governor.

So you want to sell out principle to atone for the lack of journalism skills of California media people? That has got to be the silliest reason to vote for anyone that I have ever heard.
