In some ways I would like to feel bad for this girl, but she just seems to be dumber than a box of rocks.

Do they have, or do they listen to their manager?

Is anyone from law enforcement interviewing them? Their plane DID slam into a building the other day. Maybe they have ties to bin Laden.

I think it is ok to be against the war in Iraq. It is not ok to make gratuitous personal attacks on Bush which is why "I'm ashamed... " did not fly.

It is also stupid to say you should have freedom of speech and then decry a radio station the freedom not to play your songs.

It is stupid to insist on freedom of speech, then denounce those who speak out against you.

"These people head for the hills fast when there's trouble, they're not there for each other."

Of all the pathetic replies in this interview this one really does it for me. Apparently running off to a foreign country and insulting our president is somehow considered an act of courage in this skank's warped little mind. She apparently hasn't gotten the message yet, I am anxiously awaiting the release of her next album.

It was in March at a concert in London , the Iraq War seemed to be immediately before us, and it seemed silly to us, not to talk about it. Perhaps the choice of words by Natalie Baines [sic, lj] , our lead singer, was a little poor, but it came from the heart. I wouldn't have said it quite like that, but I stand fully behind it.

Just shut up and sing! Stay in your lane, Chicks.

When our soldiers were in Iraq, we supported them.

Hello, you ditz- our soldiers are still in Iraq.

these people head for the hills fast when there's trouble, they're not there for each other.

That caught my attention, too, maob. I actually was thinking of using that as part of the thread title.

I think that's pretty close to what she really said, too. I'm translating what Germans translated from English back to English. The Germans used 'they disappear in the hills fast when there's trouble", in the article. That's not a phrase I've heard a lot in German, so I'm almost sure McGuire said 'head for the hills' originally and the Germans tried to make it as literal as they could and still make it understandable to their readers.

So to this German, insulting the President is speaking out against the Iraq policy. No wonder these fools fall for Schroder's bull scheiss.

Lets put it simply...that Germans are amongst the most naive people in the world. They may be fairly educated in their trade, know how to build dang good cars, and brew the finest beer in the world....but for common sense, they are alacking. If it were not for a stringent legal system and tough cops, there were scams all across the country, 24 hours a day. Politicans are free to scam though...no laws to hinder them. And the press is right behind them.

We had, in spite of all calls for a boycott, a very successful year and a sold-out tour.

The concert tour was sold out BEFORE Natalie's remarks.

I don't really agree with their angles most of the time, but they do have the quickest reponse to current events.

Their Bundesliga coverage is good, too.

Kaiserslautern is leading in Frankfurt! Are you a Bayern fan, Mon? Or, did you see the light when you became an American citizen ;>}

In that German interview it sure sounded like they know they are going to take a major financial hit. Apparently, though, it isn't enough to stop them from shooting off their mouth about things they don't know anything about.

Or, does playing the fiddle qualify you to be a political analyst? I was hoping the German guy would ask her that question.

When the whole Iraq situation started they really p....d me off. So many false reports (about our military etc.). I never liked Bayern Muenchen, rofl!!!!!! I used to be a
1. FCN Fan when I was still living there (rofl being from Nuremberg and all). I have no clue what is going on in the Bundesliga since my Dad past away, we always talked on the phone about it.
I watch football even though I don't really know what they are doing, haha, cool sport. And of course martial art is something I could watch 24/7.
