Larry Pratt may tell you otherwise, but a fair amount of democrats support the second amendment. Those who do, correctly it seems to me, get the support of the NRA.
Have you ever heard of a Republican hunting season? No? Think about it. I've been a republican all of my life, and some of the best wing-shots that I have hunted with were democrats. Quite a few of them have been members of congress. Have you ever heard of the Congressional Sportsmen's caucus? It's the biggest caucus in the house and senate.
Even women such as democratic US Senator Blanche Lincoln, of Arkansas, are members. I can tell you first hand that she can shoot, and does often. She also knows where the Crappie holes are around Helena, Arkansas too.

You've adopted the textbook liberal scheme of confusing the RKBA with the right to hunt and shoot for sport. Just because they hunt doesn't mean they vote to enforce the 2nd Amendment.
There are pro-RKBA Democrats, but I don't think there are enough to justify Democrats receiving 17% of the NRA's campaign contributions. A lot of what goes to pro-RKBA Democrats should be turned into larger contributions to more pro-RKBA Republicans.
