I like it, too. The guys are very good at what they do, and I love their humor. ("Guns don't kill people. Bad fashion does!")

Hell, I wish someone would sit me down and tell me how to order wine, what skin products I should use and send me off to the mall why they redecorate my house.

I could help you with the wine (!)--but I'm the worst person to try to decorate. That's one thing I love about women. They can just make a place beautiful--flowers or some color I would never have expected. My wife gives me skin and grooming products, and I love the way she decorates our house. One thing I've learned is that if I tell her some idea I have (like, "I like this particular picture," or, "This room looks too cluttered or something," or, "I really like this piece of furniture; where could we put it?") she will take the idea and develop it into something I like.

Why don't you contact the people on the program and volunteer for a makeover?

One thing I've noticed. There's a makeover program from England, but I don't think the women take into account properly the person's wishes and life activities; it's more like a rubber stamp of the ideas of those doing the makeover. The men on Queer Eye seem to try to think what would really work for the man being madeover. And they seem nice about it, whereas the English women seem unnecessarily critical, maybe even disdainful.
