Anyway, you keep searching for the answer. Hassle the people in charge. Call your local paper and politicians. Try to find some politically active clergy. You go, girl!
Years ago, in the Courier Journal newspaper in Louisville, KY, there was an article about a woman named Ellen May. She was the mother of two preschool boys, and was browsing in the South Oldham County Library in Crestwood, Ky. She saw a book, Witches and Witchcraft. In the book were vivid descriptions of torture. There were also obscene drawings. She called the trustees of the Oldham County Library who unanimously agreed to permanently remove the book.
You can make a difference. And some child's mental well being will depend upon it.
