The only thing the GOP could do in the CA Senate was act as a bulwark against new taxes that required a 2/3 majority to pass. This they did... do you not appreciate that they consistently opposed new taxation?

You still havent addressed how McClinton would turn this financial mess around in California. You do understand as governor, he would be responsible for getting a budget approved? Why are we to believe that he can do now what he couldnt for twenty years? Guess that is why your candidate has switched from wanting to win and wanting the recall to pass, to just keeping the reigns of power from Arnold.
