Schwarzenegger: McClintock a Pawn of Pro-Bustamante Indians
NewsMax ^ | Spet. 19, 2003 | Carl Limbacher

American Indians who are supporting Democrat front-runner Cruz Bustamante in California are also promoting Republican state Sen. Tom McClintock, and GOP front-runner Arnold Schwarzenegger is furious.

"I think that as far as Tom McClintock is concerned, I think the question I have for him is, what side is he on?" Schwarzenegger said Thursday. "Is he on the side of the Republicans? Does he represent the Republicans, or does he represent Bustamante?"

Schwarzenegger suggested that the tribes were abetting Bustamante by trying to split the Republican vote.

"They are financing his commercials and TV spots and all that," said Schwarzenegger, who doesn't take money from Indian tribes. "He knows they're financing him not because they want him to be governor. They just want to interfere with the process so that Bustamante wins. He has to decide which side is he on, the Republicans' or Bustamante's."

McClintock called Schwarzenegger's comments "a ridiculous statement by a man who obviously hasn't paid much attention to California public affairs. ... For 20 years, I have fought to protect sovereignty on reservation lands, well before there was gaming.

"If they wanted to hurt Schwarzenegger, they would be making an independent expenditure to hurt Schwarzenegger, and Lord knows there's plenty they could hurt him with."

Assemblyman John Benoit, R-Palm Desert, a Schwarzenegger supporter, told the Riverside Press-Enterprise: "I think the idea of divide and conquer is a tried and true tactic. I can't speak for the Indians, but if there was somebody looking to help Bustamante, this would be the way to do it."

Arnway huckster logic.

It wouldn't surprise me, Roscoe. Do you put your foot in the customer's door when they answer it?

And the best part is, every time the Tombots swarm onto this thread, they keep bumping the title on the main page!

You have to understand the context to understand why I don't chase links for people like Robert. He has gone around here talking about how he is going to throw conservatives out of the GOP. He's also demonstrated no goodwill and a propensity to deceive.

Most FReepers have seen this information repeatedly. Like I said, common knowledge. But any person of goodwill who would have wanted the info just had to ask, I would gladly provide the means for them to find out the facts.

If you knew the way this particular pack I've been dealing with here has acted over the last month around here, you would understand my anger at them, and my refusal to follow their dictates.

They are a collossal waste of time, frankly...other than the fact that many FReepers get to see their cynicism and lack of principle for themselves through these exercises.

That link you gave doesn't have anything about Hillary Clinton supporting Arnold financially. Buffet might have supported Hillary at some time in the past, but he is not she. I have seen Buffet and Hillary together, you do realize they are NOT the same person, right?

And after what I have read thus far on the thread, I don't believe your assertion in #242, that Hillary is financially connected to Arnold in any way. And the link you provided, is just a simple search form. It links to no particular evidence. Why not PROVE your thesis about Hillary being financially connected to Arnold's campaign or admit, it is just that, YOUR own unsupported theory.

It is just a theory of yours isn't it?

Surely you realize that any accusation of this nature against a republican front runner, by an "also ran" is going to be challenged on this forum. It would be even if Rush Limbaugh himself made it.

Are you dense? How many times do I have to say the same exact words?

Warren Buffett and Dick Riordon, two of Arnold's most important backers and advisors, have given large sums of money to the most hardcore Leftist RATs there are!

It's public and well-known information. Quit parrotting Robert's twisted lying version of what I said back at me.

I'm very precise in my language, and I've made it abundantly clear on this thread too many times to count.

If you're going to act dumb and do it again, don't bother. I'm done responding to you.

"Most FReepers have seen this information repeatedly. Like I said, common knowledge."

For being common knowledge, there seem to be a lot of freepers, with dates predating yours, that don't agree with you. And I have never seen a financial connection asserted by anyone, between Hillary and Arnold. It sounds like you made it up, in anger over what Tom took from the organized crime folks who own the Indian gaming out here.

"If you knew the way this particular pack I've been dealing with here has acted over the last month around here, you would understand my anger at them, and my refusal to follow their dictates."

Like I just said, just because you are angry is no reason to make up wild accusations about fellow, long time freepers who ask you to post your proof. Neither is it right to refuse to post positive proof when you actually have it. If you don't have proof to back your opinion, say it straight up "I think Hillary supports Arnold but cannot prove it yet." And leave it at that.

He doesn't remember what he typed... too angry I guess:

My bringing up of the Arnold/Hillary money connection is simply to point out your hypocrisy in whining so loudly about some Indians donating to Tom's campaign. You simply have no credibility on this. You're simply mouthing the talking points put out by Arnold's leftist political hacks.

Well he's too angry for me! I give up on ranting flame throwers, and the link was bogus. There were no connections to Hillary directly.

Whatever, I leave it to you.

And as I have said more than a dozen times, the connection is Warren Buffett--and Dick Riordon.

Pull your head out, and maybe you can understand plain English.

Do you consciously think to yourself, "I'm going to confirm everything Dan just said," when you spurt those things?

Either way, it's darned thoughtful.

When are you going to give us your justifications for how a 'biblical Christian' can back a pro-abort, Dan? And a supporter of the radical gay special rights agenda?

I'm still waiting.

That's really funny after the thousands of insults that have been thrown by AS supporters in the last month.

But you're obviously ignorant of that, or don't care.

You do sound like Robert's mother, though. He needed spanked more as a child.

You are obviously very easily wounded, that you bring this up, repeatedly. Your desire to talk of spanking others sounds a little perverse to me, so keep it to yourself.

I think Robert has a few years on me lol. Sounds a little old and cranky. And checking your date of membership, mine, and paulsens, I think we all know who is the NEW kid on the block.

Grow some thicker skin. And find someone else to trade your multitude of insults with. Insults don't win arguments, though they may temporarily help relieve your emotional pain, imagining that insults and expressions of anger are the same thing as winning a debate. Hope you feel better soon.

Grow up and be a man, by not insulting folks on a thread after they leave and say-
Good nite.
