in the current climate, personal arms would be impractical - recipe for going to jail and making the unionistas into heroes.
I would suggest hardshell armor.

I would suggest hardshell armorYes, you are right about the firearms however the armor suggestion is too defensive in nature. If attacked, I prefer dishing out rather than rec. so let's see if we can agree on the weapon. Is there any particular problem with the bat? How about pepper spray?
