She already voted, just in case she'd been tempted to change her vote. Is that too cool, or what?

I'm not adjudging everyone who's already voted for McClintock to be some nutball. Some are, for example, not only bitterly opposed to abortion (most on FR are), but also opposed conscientiously to HAVING VOTED FOR someone who isn't really anti-abortion on policy issues. I think they do recognize that such a stance often leads to Davises and Bustamantes, and they're sorry about that effect of it, but they can't vote for someone who's too much of a "compromise" on such a dear issue. I respect this approach even if it very much is NOT mine.

People who've already voted for Schwarzenegger ... well, my first thought is, what if Garry South and Bob Mulholland put out some trash on Arnold on the weekend before the election? Trash that sticks, at least in the eyes of a big chunk of the voters? Bammo.

I may very well have to WALK my ballot in.

If Arnold DOES somehow get trashed, it'll have McClintock punched. Same goes if McClintock makes a big surge. If neither, though, probably for Arnold.
