Man Jailed for Allegedly Raping Jogger - Kidnapping, Raping Jogger in Trailer, Videotaping Attack

DENVER Sept. 19 — A construction worker kidnapped a jogger and raped her five times over a span of 24 hours in his pornography-littered trailer, videotaping one of the assaults and happily watching it before letting her go, authorities said.

Police say the 45-year-old woman was set free after she agreed to let the suspect make the video, pretend she was into it and kiss him. They had sex for 20 minutes and he replayed the video. "The male was very happy about it," an arrest affidavit said.

The suspect then left her at a Denver motel with $2 in quarters. She had memorized the man's name and address from a magazine label in the trailer, helping authorities track him down Thursday.

Michael Jesso, 29, was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, first-degree sexual assault and false imprisonment. Police said they are investigating whether he was involved in other attacks around Denver.

Jesso allegedly told the woman "this was the first time he had ever done this, but he had been thinking about it for years," according to the arrest warrant. The man said he "was a nice guy but a pervert," the affidavit said.

The woman said Jesso approached her on a jogging trail Tuesday with a stun gun, bound her hands, gagged her and raped her on a bridge.

He drove her to a trailer park, led her into a room wallpapered with posters of nude women and handcuffed her to the bed before raping her. At one point, the suspect kissed the woman on the forehead before going to his construction job, then changed his mind and raped her again, police said.

The woman screamed when the man was at work, but could not be heard over loud music he turned on before he left, the affidavit said.

Police say she was raped six times in all once on the trail and five times in the trailer park.

The alleged videotaped attack occurred after Jesso went to a Sears and bought a video camera, the woman said. He also wrote a letter saying neither of them would sell the video.

The woman has been released from a Denver hospital.

"Physically, she's doing OK," said Angel Strickland, spokeswoman for the Cherry Hills Police Department. "Considering what she's been through, emotionally she's doing as well as can be expected."

I'm always amazed that when some racist does something and they find racist literature in his trailer, the media goes ballistic about the literature. The hunt down the people who wrote it and accuse them of being involved. So why don't they hunt down the people who made the porn and ask them about the rape? We got spammed by some people offering Japanese Schoolgirl Rape videos. Oh, there's a good idea. Let's make rape a form of entertainment.
