Pshaw! As if Nikita Dean is going to make way for Ashley Clark? He'll go postal long before then. And no way no how Hillary is going to allow Clark to grab the Democratic nomination if she sees Bush can be beaten. Hillary will want to be #1. I can't see the Democrats going for any one else but Queen Bee.

Frankly, I didn't vote for Bush Well then thanks for nothing, Joe Farah. You talk a good game, but when it really matters, you pouted and tried to shoot a hole in the lifeboat. In 2000 a vote for anyone other than Bush was a in effect a vote for Gore and 4 more years of efforts to further solidify and entrench corruption, to create a national 'machine' much more unlikely to ever be overthrown.
Some so called 'true conservatives' remind me of those deranged spurned lovers, who rejected by their love interest then decide to kill her and the children. Ya know, the 'If I can't have her, no one can' attitude.

Or perhaps the equally sick deranged logic, "My children are better off dead than living with her, she might lead them to hell".
To: Diddle E. Squat
Yes, I wonder if this means that he'll be voting for Bush this time, or if he'll be berating us with more articles about how we should have tried harder to stop President Clark from being elected.

Is there nothing left of your hate you can spew for Hillary or Bill?
What is it about some conservatives that think they need to attack each other, ignoring the cause. They remind me of Christian denominational infighting.
Now that Farah is tarred and feathered, have you any energy left to comment on Farah's warning - would you mind if General Clark were elected?
By the way, IMO Joseph Farah just put up the first big red flag regarding General Clark. Everywhere else this is a non-story.
To: Diddle E. Squat
Farah is nothing but a Buchanan/libertarian/finger in the wind politico.

General Clark has as much chance as being elected as Capt. Crunch.

I think that there is little chance he makes it through his first debate, where when asked a question he'll have to pull out his cell phone and say "Hold on a minute, let me ask".
The man is an empty sack.

Go ahead and vote for the Republicrats/Demicans. As they pass unconstitutional laws, extort more tax dollars from your family, send your children off to die in Somalia and Bosnia, then take away your ability to defend yourself...you have the satisfaction of NOT putting a Marxist in the White House?
Time to WAKE UP!!!!
To: goldstategop
You're wrong, the time isn't right for Hillary, but she might take a shot at VP and push back her big hopes to 2012.

Clark also recently said, (paraphrased),
"Civilians don't need assault rifles! (sic) Anyone who wants an assault rifle should join the military!"

"Have you ever heard of a thing called fluoridation? -- fluoridation of water? . . . Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever had to face? . . . Do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water -- why, there are studies under way to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk, ice cream? Ice cream, Mandrake! -- children's ice cream!
"Do you know when fluoridation first began? . . . Nineteen hundred and forty-six. 1946, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh?
"It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual -- certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works."

Excuse me, but aren't you doing the exact thing when you attack Farah, who you probably agree with 90% of the time? No one is being asked to waste a single precious vote on Joe Farah, thus paving the way for a takeover by Michael Moore.
That's the difference.

Careful, Batsy. If Mr. Bush continues on his current path -- i.e. playing footsie with Fat Teddy on education, rolling over for the biggest farm subsidies EVER, NOT fighting like h*ll for good conservative judicial nominees, NOT taking any action whatever to protect our borders and defend them from invasion (and, yes, this IS an invasion), I know for a flat fact that I won't vote for him again...and I do not for a moment believe that I'm unique in that view.
Weaselly Clark, on his record, is a putz, a prissy-ass superduper micromanager ala Jimmuh, and widely disliked throughout the military, but the 'Rats only care about the 4 stars formerly on his shoulder as a diversion from the too-obvious and too-accurate perception of the public that their party doesn't give warm spit for the defense of the nation.
Besides, haven't you noticed that the media, who would collectively cream their jeans if Hitlery were to run, have JUST creamed their jeans when this bozo tossed his hat in? If you think that Weaselly is anything other than a stalking horse for PIAPS, think again.

I've said before, Clark s the favorite of the terminally hip Washington Press Corps, nothing more.
Howard the Dean has connected with his base - they aren't going anywhere.
Clark has a hard time connecting with anyone. Most of the USA sees him as a talking head on CNN, not the winner of a war most people lost attention of after the first week (those were a looong 80 days!).
Clark is all icing. Take him seriously, but no fear.
