Actually, I think the Roe V. Wade arguement has everything to do with it(though abortion itself does not.) The point is, how do you hang your victories on some court decisions and then nulify the courts on ones you don't agree with? Most pro-lifers are fighting to overturn the decision, not nulify the legitimacy of the court to make it. And with very rare exceptions, women are at least partially responsible for the spike in abortions (with the obvious exceptions). Any women who falls for the "if you love me line" and admit it ladies....we all have at one time or another, if having a total common sense breakdown. Didn't your mother ever tell you not to fall for that peer pressure crap, "If Jimmy told you to jump off a cliff, would you???"

I guess I'm just an old fashioned girl that thinks people are actually responsible for their actions no matter how weak they were at the moment or how cute that guy was (of course, I would be hard pressed to to turn W. down if he was a single man.......I'd fall for his line any time, but I digress....)

No, actually , it doesn't. The SCOTUS decision basically said that you can't change the rules in mid stream because the old rules don't suit you. That may be simplistic but that is what it was. To try to tie R v W into this is ludicrous.

Yes, we all, eventually, fall for the cute guy who convices you to do something you know you shouldn't but we are all responsible for our decisions. The fact that some try to take away that responsiblilty is one of the things that is wrong with our world.
