the homosexual attackers were upset with a sermon he preached entitled "It's Time to Draw the Line." The four attackers apparently came looking for Endrei, but instead met volunteer Rich Bilski ... the four men assaulted the church worker, one of them reportedly hitting him in the face with the frame of a tennis racquet. As they ran away, one of the attackers shouted, Thats for Pastor Paul.
Endrei feels other pastors need to know that if they preach against the homosexual lifestyle in America, there will be a backlash. He says "tolerance" to the homosexual community is a one-way street.
"As long as you agree with them, they're very happy to befriend you. But when you go against their agenda, you find that there is a very strong and violent force that is behind it," he says.
But the senior pastor says the threat of violence should not stop the Church from standing up for biblical truth.

The assault on the church volunteer fits the definition of a hate crime, but do hate crimes apply to homosexuals?

Hate Crimes Law C-250 Passes 143-100 in Canadian House of Commons
Opposition to Homosexuality Could Now be Considered 'Hate' Crime
OTTAWA, September 17, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a shocking development, the Canadian House of Commons passed Bill C-250 which adds 'sexual orientation' to Canada's hate crimes law. The vote was 143 to 110.
The bill has been the subject of intense lobbying by pro-family and church groups who fear that the bill will lead to serious erosion of freedom of religion and expression in Canada.
C-250 was introduced as a private members bill by openly gay New Democratic Party MP Svend Robinson who has been a militant abortion, euthanasia and homosexuality activist.
C-250 must still be passed through the Senate where opponents might possibly have another opportunity to stop the draconian change in legislation.
LifeSite will report much more on this development in Thursday's news.

These homosexuals who attacked this church worker are law-abiding, decent individuals (sarcasm still one by the way)

... one of them reportedly hitting him in the face with the frame of a tennis racquet. Is it just me, or does one almost expect gay thugs to be armed with tennis raquets?
