I have an UNEASY feeling about this! The RATS are soooooo EVIL and NOT to be trusted!

For some Republicans, particularly those who believe Schwarzenegger is the party's most electable candidate, the fear is that supporters of Sen. Tom McClintock have already voted and aren't able to vote for Schwarzenegger if McClintock drops out.
They'd better start worrying that we WON'T vote for Schwarzenegger if Tom drops. I won't, and that's why I sent in my ballot. Expect many like me.

Dictators, communists and liberal Democrats despise elections........especially when they hold all the power! The California recall is paramount to a declaration of war against Democrat incompetence!!The ruling political elite is pulling all the strings of power to hold on to their privledge. They will not be turned out of power at the sight of a mere vote.

What I find funny is all the Arnold supporters screaming and whining that he can't win without voters like me.
If Arnold's not going to try to get my vote, that's his problem. I'm not swearing allegiance to the all-holy king of the CA GOP.
If I were, I would have voted for Riordan, the last candidate to be coronated.

That does it. You just settled it for me. I was holding my absentee ballot, but you have convinced me to put it in the mail today.
Cheers, CC :)

Under the equal protection clause (because according to the 9th circuit, it is made of rubber), wouldn't voting before the election date give an unfair advantage in campaigning? According to 9th head casing; you are quite right. Why... all candidates for President should be right now filing suit to protest "early" voting in CA because CA is 1/6th the US economy; and therefore everyone across the US should be allowed to "pre-vote" in CA's election campaign -- considering its "equal protection" potential in the US Presidential race. I'd laugh.. but.. too much evidence in ACLU/9th cases to suggest this could be REALity. Can't have "disenfranchisement" of those in the other states, yeknew -- those in the other states would now be considered "minorities" in re CA's "recall" election...

You are skilled in examining the mind-frame of the mentally deranged 9th circuit.
Can't have "disenfranchisement" of those in the other states, yeknew -- those in the other states would now be considered "minorities" in re CA's "recall" election...
But, given the trends in rest of the country, and the fact that Gray Davis has a very limited following, wouldn't the nation voting in the recall serve to defeat Gray Davis?
Question then is, would Bustamante, McClintock or Arnold win?
WILD speculation used to be fun... until the rest of the nation starts to realize that what the 9th circuit does, can impact all of America.
What is it they say, "As goes California, there goes the nation?"

Very kind of you Pan_Yans Wife!

Good point. However, the Dem Presidential Candidates would find a way to stretch that "ruling" into a "disenfranchisement" rant of their own. I was making an absurdity on the 9th and ACLU stretching of "voter disenfranchisement" issues. That's what libs do -- they stretch, and stretch and stretch rulings and laws - but only in order to get their own oar in; thereby assuring the news media gets more "sensational" "breaking news items" in order to boost what rates they charge advertisement.
Point is, it would get stretched into a "rant" by Dem Presidential candidates that they were being excluded in some way.
Question then is, would Bustamante, McClintock or Arnold win?Under this "theory", no -- none of these would win. Dems would propose a "neutral, disenfranchised Dem Candidate for BOTH CA Governor and Whitehouse.
WILD speculation used to be fun... until the rest of the nation starts to realize that what the 9th circuit does, can impact all of America. What is it they say, "As goes California, there goes the nation?"
You are so very right, on both counts. The very fact that I've posted my absurdity theory, which is not actually absurd but in fact a replicate sample of how liberals operate in real time -- means; we'd all best keep our eyes open! :)
