The eastern side of the eye is going to go right over Hatteras it appears. The western edge starts around Moorehead City. The eye is just about to hit land but it's not quite there yet. Hatteras is probably getting pummelled.

And it looks like Moorehead City is about to get drenched in rain. The rain about to hit shore there is heavier on the radar than at Hatteras.

'Tis one heck of an eye, and one wide spread of winds. Thankfully, it weakened a bit instead of strengthening.
