Went out this A.M. to check on my three horses at a farm outside of Leesburg VA. A huge run-in shed in one of the fields was completely destroyed by the winds last night - totally flattened! The shed was about 50 feet long, to give some idea of its size, and was not a flimsy structure. Fortunately none of the horses were injured when it went down. The winds there must have been stronger than in the immediate D.C. area. Also a lot of large branches down, and of course no power.
