Daughter is a unique young lady. A "computer nerd" with a social life. As she pursues her PhD in Educational Technology, she works part-time for a government funded research center dealing with the NSA and the NRO (many military ties), yet would consider herself a liberal. (She jumped on the Edwards bandwagon months ago).
We tried to instill healthy respect for one's surroundings without a sense of outright fear. She is always ready to be adventurous, but prepares for the contingencies.
