Just talked to a friend in Alexandria. Powers been off since 4:11 pm.--2 hours.
Over here in W. NC, it was sunny and 80 degrees all day. The only indication of anything brewing was that the barometer has dropped from 28.5 to 28.1 during the day - very low readings.
We have some high clouds, now, but that's about it.
