I'm in Georgia. Georgia has never experienced a hurricane, ever.

Bull.

Hurricane Opal, October 1995; I don't think I'll ever forget it. It moved inland so fast that it was still at hurricane strength by time it got to I-20 headed northbound.

I don't think Laz lived here then. So, I guess he is allowed to make up his own history of Georgia's weather.

Didn't Hurricane Bob make it to Georgia back in 1979? I was in New Orleans at the time and I remember it missed us to the east... definately hit Mississippi, perhaps Georgia too?

Opal dang near beat my record driving time from the "redenck Riviera".

Like you Michael, even though I've been through two tornadoes, I'll never forget it.
