I was wondering about you...... everything ok in your area?
To: Mo1
Well we know what you'll be doing tomorrow The same thing you'll be doing. :-)

Just a big mess; nothing destroyed. We're not complaining. It could have been worse; it could have been another Fran.
In fact, from what I have been hearing on the local and national news, it may end up being worse than Fran.

Naaaaaaaaa ... I'm gonna make these 2 drunks clean it up for what I'm putting up with now .. LOL

And it's nice to know that if I had gone missing, I'd be missed.
I sure wish I had gotten Gabz's number.

Get it in writing. NOW.

You aren't talking about a tornado that crossed Texas, slammed into Arizona, then circled around to Kansas?
To: Howlin
Looks like about 150,000 in our 5-county area surrounding Philadelphia, as of the 11pm news report. Numbers are going up fast due to wind + trees combination. I see the school closings are running across the bottom of the TV screen now.
I'm grateful we're not getting the full Isabel treatment. I'm just praying no trees fall on us and the creek doesn't rise.
To: Howlin
We went through "Floyd" when we first moved up here...... that was some intense rain and wind...... we're just getting the bands of wind and rain here now.......
To: Think free or die
How high was the wind up there?
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
Good luck; I'm not sure we put much of a dent in her.
To: Howlin
Gabz was on the WFTD thread earlier when I had to go out...... I checked in and someone mentioned her not being back on since mid afternoon.......

heck, you've been missed so far :o)
I wish you had Gabz' number too. She's smart and prepared. Not to worry.

Thanks - she is trekking more to the West of us (I'm due north of Philadelphia, near Allentown) so we're just getting the outlying bands....... my husband works in Baltimore and drove home through it today....he said it was pretty intense......
To: Howlin
I'm not sure of wind speeds. Phila had gusts up around 40mph. I suspect ours have been similar, and we're not done yet. I'll breathe a sigh of relief tomorrow morning if nothing ugly happens overnight.

I counted 20 states and the District of Columbia. Am I wrong?
