Sorry your thread was ruined by people intent on making personal insults regarding the appearance of a candidate versus the worthiness of his positions.

I can only imagine how these posters' physical perfection must exceed their ability to lead and inspire great thought and debate.

Mr. B. Please don't give up - there are a large number of posters on the thread that are tired of the tone that has been present on the forum and are taking steps to try reverse it. Right now a small minority are causing problems. Everyone knows who they are and what they have to say - because it has been said a hundred times on a hundred different posts. It's like a four year old kid going through the potty talk stage.

A lot of us don't know how we are going to vote - we need more time and more info. And that is getting hard to do when you get the usual non-witty personal insults and tiresome graphics.

Now I predict there will be about 8 to 10 posters that are going to rag on me big time - I'll even wager who they might be by freepmail. I also know that these same posters wouldn't have the guts to do it in person.

Why am I on your ping list and what post did you object to?

The one where I questioned why McClintock is accepting the ads from the Indian tribes? Is that a "personal insult regarding the appearance of the candidate"? I consider it a factor when considering the worthiness of his positions and the ethics on which he stakes those positions. And it would appear that is the level you wish to keep the conversation on.

Needless to say, I didn't need a rebuke from you.

That is so sadly funny. Do you never frequent pro-Arnold threads? If I post a thread saying that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a human being, it will be instantly filled with scorched-earthers slinging hollow, vicious slogans, graphics, and snipings against anyone who dares to buckk their orthodox creed of who one may and may not vote for.
