There haven't been any solid arguments separating Schwarzenegger from liberals.

There are arguments that place him firmly in the path of liberalism.

Now, he might not be as far to the left as Bustamante, but he's almost as far left as Davis. He makes a better Democrat than Republican after you analyze his positions, his statements, his friends and his past.

McClintock has accomplished more for conservatism than any other Republican in California since Reagan.

There haven't been any solid arguments separating Schwarzenegger from liberals.

The "R" next to his name is your first clue.

There are arguments that place him firmly in the path of liberalism.

There are arguments that say we never landed on the moon and that the black helicopters are going to hover over all our homes and kill us in our beds next Tuesday.

Now, he might not be as far to the left as Bustamante, but he's almost as far left as Davis. He makes a better Democrat than Republican after you analyze his positions, his statements, his friends and his past.

I have analyzed his positions, statements, friends, and past. And here's what I found (Arnold's words in quotation marks, which you can find for yourself at http://www.joinarnold.com/en/agenda/arnoldsviews.php#C1 ):

"I am firmly opposed to raising taxes." Liberals are not opposed even one itty-bitty bit to raising taxes.

"I will repeal the (car) tax immediately upon taking office." Liberals would not repeal the car tax immediately upon taking office.

"I will fight any attempt to roll back (Proposition 13)." "I will vigorously oppose any proposal to change Proposition 13." Liberals would consign Proposition 13 to the ash heap of history.

"I will renegotiate the energy contracts and take other steps to give California a reliable and affordable energy system." Liberals think the current energy contracts are just fine.

"I will push for laws curbing frivolous lawsuits ..." Liberals have never heard of a "frivolous" lawsuit.

"My goal is to shift more power to local communities and give them more say over their budgets and get more money into the classroom." Liberals are for central control of schools.

"I believe (the death penalty) is a necessary and effective deterrent to capital crimes." Liberals do not support the death penalty.

"(I) support the Three Strikes law." Liberals do not support the Three Strikes law.

"California must be free of federal fuel additive mandates ..." Liberals think ever-burgeoning federal mandates in general and federal fuel additive mandates in particular are just fine.

"I do not support partial birth abortion." Liberals rarely have a problem with partial birth abortion.

"I am in favor of parental notification." Liberals are generally not in favor of parental notification.

"I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment." Liberals would like to forget the Second Amendment.

McClintock has accomplished more for conservatism than any other Republican in California since Reagan.

A statement long on bluster and short on specifics.

I've asked you this question twice, and this will be the last time. Dodging the question again will simply get you put on my personal ignore list, as I have no time to deal with people who are being intentionally obtuse, paid advocates for liberals like Bustamante, or trolls.

WHAT.

SPECIFICALLY.

HAS.

TOM.

MCCLINTOCK.

DONE.

FOR.

CONSERVATISM.

IN.

CALIFORNIA?

I'm going to assume it's out of ignorance and not stupidity that you say that there isn't any difference between Arnold and the Bustamove/Grayout machine. So, here are some differences:

1. Arnold supports parental notification for abortion. Cruz and Gray don't.

2. Arnold opposes partial-birth abortion. Cruz and Gray dont.

3. Arnold opposes regulating the oil industry (i.e. creating gas lines), Cruz and Gray support it.

4. Arnold has said repeatedly he will not raise taxes and does not believe that tax hikes are the way to fix California. Cruz has PROMISED to raise taxex by 9 BILLION. Let's not even talk about how much Davis has already raised them.

5. Arnold is not bought off by union interests or trial layer interests. Cruz and Gray are.

6. Arnold is in favor of reducing regulation on business. Cruz and Gray support every single regulation you can think of.

7. Arnold opposes Gay Marrage. Cruz and Gray don't. (yah, yah, I know all about the civil union stuff, and personally, I don't give a crap. Either way, being against marrage is better then the alternative.)

8. Cruz is a racist. Arnold isn't.

9. Cruz and Davis are carrear politicians who know NOTHING about the private sector. Arnold has spent most of his life being very successful in many areas of the private sector.

10. Arnold would repeal giving illegal aliens drivers licenses. Davis signed the thing for God's sake, and Cruz supports it.

How many more differences do you need? 10 more? 20 more? Do you plan on throwing your vote away nomatter what?

Political ideas are about ideals. Elections are about being pragmatic. Your either going to get 70% of what you want or nothing. My favorite "RINO," (as I'm sure many McClintock supporters would call him), Ronald Reagan said, repeatedly, "A man who agrees with me 70% of the time is not my enemy. Take what you can get and fight for the rest later."
