In my humble opinion, this club is just a cry for attention, not a legitimate ethnic club.

Caucasians do not have a strong ethnic bondage similar to blacks or Hispanics.

On the other hand, Caucasians have always been members of exclusive ethnic clubs with natural bondage.

For instance, my wife is a member of the Danish-American Society and the Danish-American Chamber of Commerce. I have accompanied her to Danish-American conventions, and all I saw for the whole weekend was lily-white, tall, good looking people :-) [Yeah, I like long-legged, blonde Danish women]

I'm sure that an Italian-American club, or an Armenian-American club or a Greek-American club will have a much stronger raison d'etre than a Caucasian-American club.

But why not? How are French, German, Greeks, Irish any less connected than Puerto Ricans, Spaniards, Guatemalans, Colombians, Argentinians? I can see how blacks might have a certain bond because most are descended from slaves but not the others.

What planet do you reside on? I am White, I am proud to be White. If given a choice, I would on pain of death never be any other race (fill in the blank) than White.

I know it was Whites who founded and made this country, (au contraire to the commie revisionists and new speak history as it may evolve on any given day to please a targeted audience for vote pandering) America would not, nor could not exist, except for those Whites who gave all for it's birth. If liberals would have been in power, that birth would have been aborted then, and even today, they still seek a bloody late term abortion of America's true national heritage.

Speak for yourself...I have a strong bond with my European-American brothers and sisters. Our ancestors created the greatest nation in the history of the world which was an amalgamation of the greatest cultures from the motherland in Europe. The term "Hispanic" is a real misnomer as a mayan/aztec descent Mexican has little in common (except language) with the 1959-1960 era Cuban refugees who were more Spanish descent white folks. And you noticed that it was those Spanish descent Cubans who held the line for Bush in Dade county during the election debacle, acting like a bunch of suburban white folks...meanwhile in California Bush was trounced with a heavy turnout of Mexican-American hispanics most of whom are of Indian descent.

They have historically shown their "strong ethnic bondage" by wishing to live, socialize, study together, just like other groups do.
