I read but don't usually post on the Peterson threads, because, as far as I can see, Scott is guilty. And, alone, he killed his wife & son.

Geraldo is the worst source for straight info & anything he comes up with is far-out, suspect. Not to mention that people imprisoned will say & do just about anything to help their own case.

Here's the answer about CA, and this should put to bed any speculation that this bit about Cory Carroll is somehow traceable to Geragos. I mean, I know we're used to assuming it's more of Geragos' droppings when we see a story with characters named things like "Skeeter" and "Dirty", but this one surely did not come from Geragos. He has nothing to gain from it. And if it's true, it's deep doo-doo for Scott.

Thanks, Val. I'm of the opinion there's a real tie-in here to SP, and inclined to believe there really is a Dirty and Skeeter involved. Don't necessarily believe that Carroll left the room at the mention of "kidnap". Thinking here that these guys tie in to a meth connection. This guy could be talking to cover his whatchamacallit.

Yes, however, from all the forensic type shows and true crime that i have read it seems that with luminol you can see tiny "cast off" blood from the initial impact of the bullet, that may have been missed under normal view. IOW there is nearly always a cast off "spray" of blood droplets present. I guess he could have put a pillow over Laci's head if he shot her...It's an interesting theory that she might have been shot vs strangled.

Sometimes I think that he started one plan, but then changed direction as it went on.

For example, when I heard that one of the two lifejackets that he'd bought with his boat was unaccounted for, it occurred to me that maybe he'd been going to pass Laci's disappearance off as a tragic boating accident. ("I finally got her to just take a peaceful outing with me in my new boat, just out on the bay while I fished, but then she stood up, see, and then the extra weight that she wasn't really used to made her balance not be as good as usual, and ... blah blah blah")

There was a man in New Orleans some 20 years ago who allegedly shot his wife through a pillow as she slept. He said it was suicide. My opinion was that it was not suicide (after watching the whole trial), but the man was acquitted--so the jury must have believed it was suicide. IIRC, there was a blood spatter expert in that trial. And the man explained the blood on himself by saying he cradled his wife's body in his arms when he found her.

So, I mean, maybe that was the plan: maybe Scott was going to shoot her through a pillow and then say she killed herself, but then maybe he got thinking, "They'll never believe she did that, b/c she wanted the baby so badly", and maybe the plan evolved from there into a "disappearance."
