My fiance is a teacher here in Phoenix. Her staff was informed yesterday that the school district's policy is that the teachers are not allowed to attend the prayers at the poles.
When some of the teachers complained and asked for a copy of the specific policy which banned the pole prayers for teachers, the district responded by sending a letter of complaint from the Jewish Anti-Defamation League. No specific district policy against teachers attending the prayers has yet to be cited.

Happy to report that the principal of our local high school here in California extended the invitation to SYATP to all teachers (can you believe it?!)! Praise the Lord.

Lots of students showed at poles in my neck of the woods. I joined the group at my daughter's private school - about 10% of the student body was present. And it was really swell to hear my own daughter pray in public.
