It also brings back bad memories from the past. Thank God idiots like this are few now-a-days.

Everytime I see anything regarding the VietNam vets coming home and how they were treated it brings tears to my eyes. As long as I live I will never understand that. (I was born in '67 so I had no idea what was going on at the time.) I have vowed that even if I am the only one, I will honor ANY military man who comes home from doing his duty in the military.

I too am a 67'er. My father was wounded in VietNam - both mentally and physically! My baby brother is afflicted with the mysterious Gulf War syndrome - I never appreciated the rawness of VietNam until I watched "Born on the 4th of July" - heartwrenching beyond belief.

I was born in 1960 and I didn't know anything either but up to now I still don't understand the the mistreatment of our Vets. It's like "shooting the messenger." It's not right and it's not fair and it makes me angry too!
