Of the many you told, I'll reply to this distorted lie.
The provision is too allow Mexican truckers to take their cargo to the final destination instead of having to drop off their load and have it then taken on it's last leg by American truckers.
This is nothing but an employment protection racket by the unions and it increases the cost and time of moving the increasing amount off goods coming through Mexico.
It's also political hay for politicians who whine about Mexican truck safety while they give drivers licenses to illegal aliens and demand we give them welfare, health care and an education at taxpayer expense. All to get their vote.
There are plenty of jobs in the truck driving industry without resorting to this needless protectionism. That's why almost every semi I drive by has a sign on the back advertising for drivers.
GW has a new hat.
Having said that, this President seems to do everything in his power to hemmorhage jobs overseas.
New L catagory visas are now in the works to enable Doctors and medical professionals as well as electricians, plumbers, etc to come here and take the jobs of yet MORE Americans.
Perhaps the Slick One and his world axis of socialism neo-liberal wobblie pals set the table for a future health care project designs?
