Fantastic article. I only wish he'd named all the names. Interesting that he suggests that one reason he has some values and a conscience is that he's 58 years old. I think there is an oblique suggestion there that he has no further career prospects with the New York Times.

Their site has all sorts of warnings about copying their articles. It is after all aimed at publishers (who own copyrights) and editors. Professionals.

Is it really such a big deal for you to go to their site? Why risk another blowup ala the WashPost LATimes of not long ago?
