This is sickening.
Israel has been fighting the war on terror since its inception in 1948.
She deserves all the help she can get

Israel has fought consistently effective against Jihadist scum for years.
Israel has been a great friend to our nation through thick and thin.
We should not betray her.

Some war on terrorism. Hey Bush, I thought you said it was war on terrorists and terrorism, not on allies.
To: PatrioticCowboy
President Bush has called the fence "a problem" because it makes it hard to develop a contiguous Palestinian state.
Well the way it's set up either Israel or a future Palestinian state is gona be split in two.

From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime."

Just when Bush is starting to pull some Jewesh voters over, he goes and does this?
I'm beginning to think he's his father's son.

I'm no expert, just a hard working American.
The solution to the "Israel" situation is simple.
Cut them loose.
Let them "solve" their problems.
Might take 2 weeks.
There will be no more "terrorism" in Israel.
There will be no "rebuilding".
The "foreign welfare" could end (at least for Israel) permenently.

You need to get a better news source. Reuters sucks.
I'm wondering how they reconcile their title
U.S. to Withhold Some Funds from Israel
with the body of the story:
But administration officials said they have yet to decide whether to penalize Israel for building a fence through the West Bank. Congressional aides doubted the White House would carry out that threat.
So, the administration hasn't decided yet, and aides doubt that they even would. So it sounds like the typical diplomatic posturing that goes on over there every day.
Get back to me when something actually happens.

We must back Israel regardless. I believe we will find backchannels to help IDF and Sharon.

$9 billion package of U.S. loan guarantees to help Israel weather a deep recession and fiscal crisis.According to some posters on this site, Israel doesn't need US help or money.
Does America get a vote in this outrageous amount? The US has always forgiven loans to Israel. I can think of better uses here in the homeland and for our military that the money would be better spent on.
I vote 2 billion tops as more than enought to GIVE our ally!
Instead of all the bitching...perhaps some of you peeps should show some gratitude for the massive amounts we give Israel. Is there another country that aids Israel in any manner?

USA should be paying Israel bonuses for bumping off Arafat and his ilk. And for building a security fence which leads to more calmness, fewer attacks.
