The Dad's (& Mom's) in your Webelo's Den should volunteer to be Scout Leaders....All it takes is they fill out the BSA form and pay ten bucks.....Get two or three to do this and you can rotate your assistants so they won't complain about the time commitment.....

Scout's and Cub structure are entirely different....Cub's are adult lead where Scout's are "boy lead"....

I would agree except that I volunteer in a community that there are a lot of broken homes and families. These kids need the positive structure of the Scouting Program as they are not getting positive reinforcement at home. Parents were not willing to volunteer the time, but the leaders were able to find the volunteer needed to work with me in this program. Sorry, this is a scary time and I wanted to have another leader with me to hopefully false accusations and the like.
