The stupid "punch cards discriminate against minority" argument. How come they can't vote, but they have no problem completing paperwork for unemployment, food stamps, and welfare?

If that is the case then either (a) discontinue all elections where punch equipment is used or (b) disallow all minorities the right to vote.

Indeed. It is really sad that the court thinks they are so stupid the cannot operate a punchcard voting machine - with instructions clearly printed on the machines AND elections officials immediately available to answer questions.

But then, it seems some of their own people think they are too stupid to do so. Why would I be surprised if a bunch of white guys agrees?
