So your're saying that Southerners were like Hitler? What total crap. I think they had a valid point that they joined the United States voluntarily and could leave any time they wanted. Why couldn't Lincoln left well enough alone - they would have rejoined later on their own. If anyone should be compared to Hitler it's Sherman who delighted in seeing other people suffer and die.
