born to run album shows him urinating on the flag? You mean Born in the USA, not Born to Run.

If he was putting out anything interesting now, it would almost be upsetting that one so talented could be so politically deluded Yep, it's been a long time since I've cared about Springsteen's downward spiral (as far as album quality is concerned), but now I'd actually be diappointed if he released something like Born to Run or Darkness on the Edge of Town. But it ain't gonna happen.

I never said Chris Core was lying. I said that the minority of people who have alleged this incident happened should probably get a sense of humour since it was clearly a joke.
The woman caller you cite was probably lying however.

Wellll, it IS, if you're ...
Now there you've got me -- quite correct. :)

This bitching fest still goin'? Springstein's calling for impeachment, or for anything, is as significant as the rhythm gittar player of the Swinging Blue Jeans calling for impeachment or for anything!
Besides, with his husky shouting substituting for singing he's just another male kd lang! Who needs a male lesbian when you can have the real thang?!

I THINK "Bruce" got his "Inspiration" from the "Likes of" Woody Guthrie.
The Problem is, "Times Have Changed!!"
Woodie Guthrie dealt with an "America" in the Industrial Age---Mr Springsteen lives in the "Information Age."
Jobs & Skills & Societal Needs are VASTLY DIFFERENT from the "Time" of Mr Guthrie!
SADLY, I fear that Mr Springsteen has NOT YET comprehended the "Sea-Change" in the requirements for "Skilled Labor!!!"
"The Boss" is a Highly Skilled Anachronism!!
Sadly.

LOL, what an assclown!
Springsteen had some pretty good songs 35 years ago, but man, he’s milked that cow dry.

It appears he signed up just for that one post, and then never posted again. So I don’t think you will be getting a reply.
