Ther only ones who slander Linux are those who are full of smug self-righteousness about being anti-Microsoft etc...
Me? I use both, and am a happier person for it.

I am partitioned for both, but will onlu use 98SE and Office 2000. I absolutely will not buy any Microsoft products made like any of the newer versions with either kernel.
I prefer Opera to the MS brouser, do not use any MS E mail software, and I like SUSI and Red Hat Linux a great deal.
I do not trust Bill Gates and company, and hope more governments and businesses vote against MS with their feet.
Open source is the way of the future, MS is whalebone corset and buggywhip material that has no real future unles they change some fundimentalsabout how they operate and even view software.

A lot of the anti-Linux feeling is really directed against the anti-capitalist user culture behind Linux. We have difficulty looking beyond that to the fact that Linux is a great little OS that is exceedingly good at doing certain things.
Apple has a similar image problem, especially among FReepers. But guess what: after getting my Macintosh, I still like girls. I even still vote for the same candidates as I used to.
