I didn't see this posted, so forgive me if a duplicate: Fox just carried a speech of Arnold's at the CA Republican meeting. It was a live clip of him speaking about taxes, and at the end of the "they-tax-us-when-we-get-up" standard line, he said, "and that's why the first thing I'll do is repeal the CA car tax."
I'm paraphrasing, and Fox cut away, so I didn't hear any more. Did anyone else have any info on this?

car tax was enacted via bureaucratic edict... which can be undone with another edict

That's what Arnold said at this morning's rally near LAX, to the cheers of all of us in the crowd.

He heard McClintock say it, now he's piping in with "Me too!"
Why settle for a second-rate, unimaginative subsitutute like Schwarezenegger when you can have the genuine article in McClintock?

What is up with McClintock's upper-lip???
He looks like a marsupial.

You were in that crowd?
I saw you on TV.

The same way "governor" McClintock would "never raise taxes." Since he doesn't vote in the budget, it's a stupid thing for McClintock to say, as the leg. can override his veto. Technically, maybe, "he" wouldn't do it, but they would still get raised. Technically, maybe, Arnold can't repeal it, but he can adopt it as "his" program and press the legislature to repeal it.

Looks like it really bugs you that Arnold impressed the crowd there today.
