This definitely won't make the evening news but I bet if the gay school in NY received a bomb threat it would be the first story on every station.

Sorry, the authorities don't have resources to devote to solving this crime. Instead, all available units are out looking for right wing militia members.

Of course you are correct. But certainly such persecution doesn't surprise you, does it?
To: anniegetyourgun
No it does not surprise me and I do believe that Christians will be persecuted more in this country in the coming years.
To: truthandlife
Agreed. And I would submit that Christians will be hardest hit by those who claim to be the biggest champions of civil rights.

"After all 280 students in the school were evacuated, Westlake police searched for a bomb but came up empty." Looks like the gay terrorist blew it.

This definitely won't make the evening news...Neighbor, you've got that right! I just went through the on-line edition(s) of the Cincinnati and Dayton newpapers. I couldn't find a word about this. Not one.
Now this isn't to say it's not there but if it is there they took care not to make this story too obvious.

Christian School Bomb Scare: Caller Demands Public Support for Homosexual Marriage
It's not about marriage, it's about the money (benefits).
Dr. James Dobson spent most of yesterday's (Friday) show reading off literature
citations on this issue in response to the heat he got from GLAAD and other
homosexual activists after his latest appearance on Larry King's show.

Are there really benefits? I thought there was a "marriage penalty", at least until recently. I'd be interested in seeing an analysis of this.

I sent an e-mail to CNN thanking them for having Dr. Dobson on the Larry King show. If anyone is interested:

Besides the current phasing out of any marriage penalty in the tax codes,
the real aim is for "married" gays to be treated just like a married couple when it
comes to tapping employer and government benefits.
Hey, I'm not bashing gays on this issue.
It's just that they should be honest that the real aim is to get the same
financial arrangements that our country (and employers) extend to married couples.
I get the feeling that a lot of the gay lobby thinks most of America is too slow
to figure this out, but they slip up now and then and even say this is their goal.
Dobson read a number of published letter and articles during his Friday broadcast that
showed this.
I suspect that the gay lobby would be more likely to achieve this goal of
such financial treatment by just being honest about it.

I don't expect the media to carry this story. For every abortion clinic bombed or burned, there are 17+ churches burned or bombed. The press won't reveal this either. The persecution has already begun. It started at the top (judges, etc) and will work its way down soon.

The Gaystapo strikes again, and the press is silent.
What's it going to take?

I missed the Larry King appearance. Can anyone give me a brief synopsis of what was said as well as Dobson's show on Friday?

I didn't see/hear it...but since you've not gotten a response, I'll tell you what I know.
From Dobson's speaking on his own radio show, my impression is that King got
plenty of complaints from GLAAD and other gay/lesbian activists/groups
saying Dobson was a liar, hateful, homophobic, etc, etc.
Dobson spent about 15 minutes of his own radio show simply reading off short synopses of
the peer-reviewed articles and published news articles that he'd relied upon in
making his comments on the King show, including things like Center For Disease Control
studies, European medical surveys, etc.
And IIRC, Dobson said that some of the complainers wanted some representative of their
side to appear with Dobson whenever he was on the King show in the future...
and I think Dobson in so many words said that would be fine with him.
Anyway, it seems to me that GLAAD and other groups complaining about Dobson
is about like Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo complaining about Frank Capra's "Why We Fight"
film series.
In other words, "How dare you faithfully tell the public what we've said and make
our real agenda clear to the average Joe and Josephine!".

St. Paul principal Jim Krupski says the caller disagreed with the Lutheran Missouri Synod's
conservative stance on homosexuality.
Translation of what the caller means:
"How dare the Luthern Missouri Synod actually read and understand the
Bible, most notably the first chapter of Romans!?".
The caller won't be happy until quite a few passages of the Bible are lined out,
just like the black lines of redactions in a government report.
