Some of the people that post here on FR are not conservatives. They want "less government" because they're lust-filled, drug-using, porn-buying libertines. They not only don't like a guy that espouses morality - they fear him and what he might do. They might believe Arnold will bring about a more positive business climate, and might increase their taxes less than CB - but they're not into morality - quite the contrary. Druggietarians.

State Sen. Tom McClintock, R-Northridge, points to a chart showing projected cost of workers compensation insurance rates, during a debate over a package of bills to reform workers compensation insurance held at the Capitol in Sacramento, Calif., Friday, Sept. 12 2003. In the final hours of this years legislative session lawmakers approved the package of eight bills that Democrats say would cut the cost of treating job-related injuries by at least 20 percent. "To get a victory just to have a Republican there and still lose all of the issues that you feel strongly about -- what kind of victory is that?" Somebody with a sensible way of looking at the whole recall speaks! Someone with a lack of PAC support..and influence, I have no doubt.

"His role is the ideologue, carrying the pure principle and pure ideals of the Republican Party, liberty and limited government," said Fleischman. "He doesn't believe the way to achieve a goal is through compromise, but through determination and bold contrast."Well, politics is the art of compromise. Apparently, this guy missed that class.

Can you imagine some spineless RINO weasel giving that speech? Shame shame shame on the so-called "Freepers" who support Arnold.

Vote for McClintock and you'll get Bustamante.Me thinks that the McClintock supporters are looking for a reason to vote for Arnold, knowing that he will fight for Convservative values and not just Party values.
Without a firm political agenda from Arnold, that is favorable, those votes will be lost for Arnold. All he has to do, IMHO, is convince the conservatives that his way is the better way, and from what I have learned is that Tom McClintock has done a much better job of showing an agenda in favor of those conservative values.

"I love it when a plan comes together."
So does Hillary and she's smiling like crazy. You not only just fell off of a turnip truck, you're laying there loving it while she keeps running you over, backing up and hitting the gas again.
Hillary went to California early into this recall to help plan the strategy to keep the state in control of the Democrats. The liberal papers are following the DNC agenda precisely, just as you and I both know they do.
They keep baking dog-poop into a pie, telling you it's pumpkin and then delivering it to you wrapped in a bow. And you folks are gobbling it up happily because pumpkin pie is your FAVORITE.
This article is nothing but another liberal attempt to con the conservatives out of voting for the front-running GOP candidate. Are you going to let yourself be manipulated like that?

Can you imagine what a meeting of the "McClintock Militia" must be like?
I can see it now - 15 unmarried guys crowded into a neighbor's basement, holding close-order drill out in the back yard. They probably have calisthenics as well - voting lever hand crunches, sign-holding arm squat thrusts, yard sign hammer hand pushups ...

You guys are on really rocky ground when you try to use Reagan to prove how very "liberal" Arnold is. Reagan was, in my opinion, a gift from God to the country and to the world when we desperately needed him the most. Had we used your purist conservative standards, however, you would have berated us for voting for him, too.
Reagan raised taxes his first term as Governor.
Reagan was not pro-life until after he became Governor, and signed an abortion bill into California law.
Reagan signed a gun control bill into California law..
Reagan allowed homosexuals in his social circle and even had them sleep over at the White House..
Reagan signed into law the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 which gave blanket amnesty to 2.7 million illegal immigrants. .
Reagan was divorced and remarried, too, not a perfectly "pure" past according to some conservative standards.
Reagan was a life-long Democrat until just shortly before he ran for Governor, Arnold is only married to one and has been a Republican for 30 years..
-- So tell me how are we letting our mutual tremendous hero Reagan down by voting for Arnold again?.

He steadily rises, as Arnold steadily drops. Bustmanate remains static. In the final week, McClintock will finally pass Arnold in second place, and be coming up on Cruz. Tom demonstrating his amazing momentum machine.

Not a one. If anything, they'd have been praising the Soviets for all their "progressive reforms." (sic) Probably join hands with ole "Spot-Head" and sing Kumbaya.
