This is slightly off-topic, but I keep thinking of Sam Kinison's last record, released after his death, and his opening routine about Arnold.

(It's time for Arnold to stop splitting the Republican vote and step aside for the good of the party)

Schwarzenegger refused to debate McClintock, saying it would not fit into his strategy for winning the recallTranslation: "If I debated McClintock, people would realize I have no conservative values or convictions, I have no actual plan for restructuring California, and I am unable to express ideas that have not been scripted for me. Furthermore, they will discover that I am just a Democrat dressed in Republican clothing. In short, it will not fit into my 'winning strategy' because it will drive voters away in droves."

What did Sam say?
To: polyiguana
Politicians find it easy to make specific promises, he said.
"What they're lacking is the willingness to do the changes that are needed," Schwarzenegger said.
I suppose someone can make sense of that comment. (It is not I...)

"I have a plan to become the next governor of the state of California, and the best way to do that is to stay on course."Translation:"The best way for me to win is to avoid being exposed as a hollow candidate, dodge specifics, deliver scripted media sound-bites, pander to special interest voting blocks, and refuse to debate the issues.

Arnold has no good reason to debate a loser.

Well, I guess we now know the Schwarzenegger campaign color...
To: polyiguana
"We've gotten many different offers to debate," Schwarzenegger said at his Los Angeles news conference. "We decided to pick one (Sept. 24), and I feel very comfortable about that."Translation: I chose the only "debate" where the questions will be given to me in advance, so my handlers can coach me on how to answer them. Besides, I won't actually have to go one-on-one with Tom.

A twenty-plus year fighter for conservative principles IN the political arena is NEVER a loser, no matter the outcome of any one election.
At the moment, the citizens of California are the losers, because they are being led around by the nose by a bunch of liberal, cynical political hacks...and are getting no specifics on policy, and no answers to basic questions about the stance of the media-created 'frontrunner'.

Hey, that chicken (#7) and Tom (#3) have the same lips.
Your campaign seems to be posting funny pictures at this point.
Drop out Tom if you want my vote on a State or National ballot ever again.

He went on a "Gay Terminator" tirade that certainly can't be reproduced here ;). In fact he ripped a lot of Hollywood fold a new one and commented that he had people there wanting to make a new record, but the way he nuked Arnie, Penny Marshal, Joan Rivers, etc he said his manager was looking at him as if to say "I hope he's having fun...we can't use a damn bit of this!" They HAD to wait until Sam was dead to release it.
