Today President Bush traveled to Ft. Stewart, Georgia to address the 3rd Infantry Division military personnel and their families, and to thank them, and honor them with the Presidential Unit Citation. He then traveled to Mississippi to attend a fundraiser for GOP gubernatorial candidate Haley Barbour and his wife, Marsha at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson. From there he went on to Houston to attend a faith based initiative function at the Power Center with long time friend, Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell, and will be returning to the White House this evening. A BUSY day for our fine President! There are LOTS of pictures tonight, so sit back, kick off your shoes, and enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

YEP! Here it is! 7:00 Monday, ET on Lifetime TV!
Intimate Portrait: In her own words, Laura Bush shares her story for LIFETIME Television's milestone 300th "Intimate Portrait," premiering September 8, 2003. From growing up as an only child in Texas to joining one of America's most powerful political families; from the hard-fought Presidential election of 2000 to life in the White House; from her role following the tragic events of September 11th to her longer-term goals; for the first time viewers will hear Mrs. Bush's fascinating, personal story in her own words. The profile also includes new interviews with Mrs. Bush's family and close friends, including former President George Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush and National Security Advisor Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
Should be GOOD!

Great job on the Dose last night. The President looks fantastic and the troops are awesome. The mutual love and respect is very evident in all the photos.
Talking about him remembering names...when I met him, there was a woman in the crowd who took him to a school in our state during the 2000 campaign. He noticed her and called her by name and spoke fondly about the event. She was on cloud 9 after that!

It didn't even register until I actually saw a picture of Cash with President Bush.
There is no low to which the left won't sink.

Well, you said you were going to call George and Laura about Eric, and I was wondering how it went. LOL
I was trying to cheer you up. It bombed miserably...
I knew from you guys before my family called me 'bout my cousin. I was understanding, but his mother was worried sick (and called my Mom at 2am to worry her about it!)

You're right about that, and it's really scary, isn't it?
We, in this country have only two major political parties, and one of them can't be trusted......in ANYTHING.
What happens when/if they get control again? We CANNOT let that happen!
(Another contribution check to the Bush/Cheney campaign being written by me TODAY!)

Well, I was having a little 'trouble' with some loving fellow freepers at the same time I was reeling from having Eric go back, so I wasn't sure what you were referring to.
It WOULD have been funny, if I had been smart enough to figure it out! :o)
(We have heard nothing about extension of orders. I think that they are pretty well set for the beginning of December, and can't be easily changed).

The saddest thing of all seems to be those freepers who attack the President because of an issue with which they disagree.
I shudder to think of the ramifications if a democrat were in charge of our national security.
It's as if the lesson of the carter and clinton administration have not been learned.
I am so afraid.

Thanks for the ping
& for posting the Dose
To: OldFriend
I've found that most of the peoplw who are complaining are more like Clintigula Conservatives rather than Reagan Democrats.
My 3 issues are 1st amendment, 2nd amendment, and Roe v. Wade. I know that there are fine lines with the 1st Amendment, and I'm less tolerant with any infringement with #2, and it will be a work in progress with #3.
I don't agree with the President on a number of issues, but he is staunch with his views on all 3.
I rather have someone in office who is pro-life rather than pro-death.

I've thought a lot about it, OldFriend, and the one issue 'he's not doing everything I like' freepers are in a tiny minority.......and most of them are mad at the world.
I don't think they're going to affect the vote at all.
I also think that 9/11 fundamentally changed most people in America.
When they get in that voting booth, they're going to vote for the candidate who knows what he's doing about keeping us safe, and keeping America strong.......and that's George W. Bush.

hink Jim has already alerted security about the threats, and hopefully the police. It does NOT take police too long to size up a group. From my limited expereince with FReeping & the rally for america groups it is easy to observe that WE were polite, upbeat & cooperative. Cops can tell trouble makers... I hope your group has fun. Wish I were there (or rich enough to join them)...
After report please !!!
