Imagine the shrill screams of outrage if Arnold had pulled a stunt like this on Tom?

The reason this makes news is that Arnold is becoming rather well known for avoiding situations in which he has to know specifics, think on his feet, and react in real time in an adversarial environment.

Not a good sign for Arnold! supporters, sorry to say.

By contrast, it is hard to imagine Tom being ambushed by Arnold!. Why? Because Tom is running an honestly open campaign, and Arnold! is not. Tom is willing to take on anyone, even those in his own party, for what he believes in. Arnold! is not.

But whatever am I thinking? Arnold! can win! That's all that matters. The ends justify the means!

Please see post #158 and show me evidence that Tom has ALSO requested that the official debate questions not be provided ahead of time.

If Tom hasn't requested the same, then it would appear that HE is the one afraid of real debate :-)
